Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether freezing a tumor (cryoablation) can boost the immune response to the drug pembrolizumab in people with metastatic or locally advanced triple negative breast cancer. About 30 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the combination or pembrolizumab alone. The goal is to see if the freezing procedure increases certain immune cells in the blood.
