First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at two easy methods to measure deep belly fat in 110 adults with type 2 diabetes. Researchers compared a simple waist measurement to a device that uses a mild electrical current (bioelectric impedance). The goal was to see which method better relates to heart disease risk factors. Participants had a single visit for measurements and blood tests.
