Double whammy for sleep apnea: drug plus device trial launches

NCT ID NCT07577661

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether combining a nerve stimulator (HGNS) with two drugs (AtoOxy) can improve breathing during sleep better than either treatment alone. About 24 adults with sleep apnea who already have or will get the stimulator device will try each combination in random order. The goal is to see if the combo reduces breathing pauses more effectively.
