New hope for advanced colorectal cancer: drug cocktail shows promise

Summary
This study is testing a combination of three drugs (trastuzumab-deruxtecan, capecitabine, and bevacizumab) as a first treatment for people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer that has spread (HER-2 positive). The goal is to see how well this drug combo shrinks tumors. About 42 adults with this cancer will take part. The approach aims to control the disease, not cure it, as ongoing treatment is needed.
