CBD may cut opioid need after knee surgery, new study tests

Summary
This study tests whether taking cannabidiol (CBD) before and after knee replacement surgery can lower the amount of opioid painkillers people need. About 380 adults with knee osteoarthritis will receive either CBD or a placebo. The goal is to see if CBD can safely reduce opioid use and improve pain and recovery.
