First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at how the brain forms and retrieves memories by recording brain cell activity in people with epilepsy who are already having brain surgery. Up to 200 adults aged 18-65 will play memory games on a laptop while their brain activity is monitored. The goal is to find patterns that predict successful memory and identify brain areas that could be stimulated to improve memory.
