New combo therapy targets lingering cancer DNA in colorectal patients

Summary
This study tests whether two immunotherapy drugs, botensilimab and balstilimab, can clear remaining cancer DNA in people with colorectal cancer who still have signs of disease after surgery and chemotherapy. About 284 adults with microsatellite stable colorectal cancer or liver metastases will receive the drug combination, then balstilimab alone. The goal is to see if this approach can eliminate residual cancer cells and prevent the cancer from coming back.
