NCT ID NCT06462027

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a blood transfusion during a prolonged in-hospital cardiac arrest can help deliver more oxygen to the brain and other vital organs. Researchers will test this in 30 adults who have been in cardiac arrest for at least 10 minutes. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and safe, and to gather early data on its effects.
