NCT ID NCT06462027

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a blood transfusion to adults whose heart has stopped for at least 10 minutes can improve oxygen flow to the brain and other vital organs during CPR. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and safe, and whether it helps more people survive with good brain function. About 30 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a blood transfusion or a placebo.
