Summary

This study tests a new way of delivering breaths during CPR called chest compression synchronized ventilation (CCSV), which times each breath to occur between chest compressions. Researchers will compare it to standard ventilation in 50 adults who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital in Vienna.
