First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a blood test can accurately diagnose Alzheimer's disease, instead of the usual spinal fluid test. Researchers tested 342 adults visiting memory clinics. They measured certain proteins in the blood and compared results to standard diagnostic methods. The goal was to see if blood tests could be a simpler, less invasive way to detect Alzheimer's.
