Summary
This study looked at 48 adults having major abdominal surgery to see if preventing low blood pressure helps maintain brain oxygen levels. One group received standard care, while the other used a special monitor to avoid drops in blood pressure. The goal was to learn how blood pressure and brain oxygen are connected during surgery.
