First seen May 09, 2026 ยท Last updated May 09, 2026

Summary

This study looked back at the records of over 9,000 people who had weight-loss (bariatric) surgery. The goal was to find what factors might increase the risk of bleeding during or within 30 days after surgery. By identifying these predictors, doctors hope to create a scoring system to better prevent bleeding complications in the future.
