New combo aims to beat bladder cancer without bladder removal
NCT ID NCT06571708
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether adding an experimental drug (fianlimab) to standard chemotherapy plus immunotherapy can help people with muscle-invasive bladder cancer avoid bladder removal. About 36 adults will receive either the standard combo or the standard plus fianlimab. The main goal is to see if the cancer disappears after 4 cycles of treatment.
