Summary

This study tested a non-instrumental biofeedback technique to help people with abdominal bloating caused by Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or dyspepsia. 41 participants were taught exercises to control their belly and chest muscles using a video, or received a placebo. The goal was to see if this simple method could reduce the feeling of bloating after meals.
