First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested a simple, guided mindfulness meditation done at bedtime in 58 adults receiving hemodialysis for chronic kidney disease. Participants practiced 15-minute meditation sessions twice a week for four weeks. The goal was to see if this low-cost, drug-free approach could reduce anxiety and improve spiritual well-being. Results will show if meditation is a helpful complementary therapy for dialysis patients.
