Summary
This study tested whether adding a drug called AUVELITY (dextromethorphan and bupropion) to standard buprenorphine/naloxone treatment is safe and helpful for people with opioid use disorder. 18 adults on stable buprenorphine treatment took part. Researchers measured safety (heart rate, blood pressure, side effects) and early signs of benefit like reduced cravings and withdrawal. The goal is to find better ways to manage opioid addiction.
