Experimental cell therapy targets knee arthritis pain

NCT ID NCT06233474

Summary

This study is testing whether injections of Allocetra, a cell-based therapy, can help control knee osteoarthritis by reducing pain and improving joint function. The trial involves 160 adults with moderate to severe knee arthritis who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments. Participants receive either the Allocetra injections or placebo injections directly into their knee joint and are followed for up to a year to check safety and effectiveness.
