Summary

This study aimed to see if a short test called BEARNI could detect alcohol-related cognitive impairments (like memory and thinking problems) in people with alcoholic cirrhosis. The researchers planned to enroll patients with cirrhosis, but the study was stopped early after only one person joined. Because of this, no meaningful results were obtained.
