Summary
This small pilot study looked at 5 adults without atrial fibrillation but with other stroke risk factors. Researchers used advanced heart imaging and brain MRIs to see if heart abnormalities are linked to silent, unnoticed strokes. The goal is to better identify who might benefit from blood thinners to prevent future strokes.
