Can extra therapy after surgery keep melanoma from returning?
NCT ID NCT04741997
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving extra treatment after surgery can lower the chance of melanoma coming back in people with advanced stage III or IV melanoma that has a BRAF V600 mutation. About 50 adults will receive a combination of two drugs (encorafenib and binimetinib) before surgery, then based on how much cancer remains, they may get more therapy after surgery. The goal is to see if this approach reduces relapse rates.
