Summary
This study looked at whether taking a daily high dose of vitamin D3 (10,000 IU) for 12 weeks could improve muscle strength and muscle mass in older adults (60+) with obesity. 29 participants from southern Mexico completed the trial. Researchers measured handgrip strength, muscle mass, and physical performance before and after the supplementation period.
