Which lung surgery order lowers cancer DNA in blood?
NCT ID NCT05502523
First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at two different ways surgeons cut blood vessels during lung cancer surgery. The goal is to see if tying off the vein first (instead of the artery) reduces the amount of tumor DNA released into the bloodstream. About 100 adults with early-stage lung cancer will have blood tests before and after surgery to compare the two techniques.
