New hope for medium vessel stroke? drug injection into brain arteries under trial
NCT ID NCT07185022
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a clot-dissolving drug directly into the blocked brain artery can improve recovery for people with a medium vessel stroke. About 282 adults whose stroke is caused by a blockage in a medium-sized brain artery will receive either the drug injection plus standard care or standard care alone. The goal is to see if this approach leads to less disability three months after the stroke.
