First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a digital test battery called Mindmore Distance can accurately assess thinking and memory in people with neurological conditions like traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, or brain tumor. Researchers will compare results from the at-home computer tests with standard in-person tests. 350 adults who speak Swedish and have a computer will participate to see if remote testing is a reliable option.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this could allow patients with neurological conditions to get cognitive testing from home, saving travel and time.
What could go wrong
This is an early validation study, not a treatment trial. The digital tests may not match in-person accuracy for all patients, and results may not apply to everyone.
Conditions
