First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests a device that uses radiofrequency energy to calm overactive nerves in the lung arteries of people with heart failure and a specific type of high blood pressure in the lungs. About 750 adults who are stable on heart failure medications will either get the procedure or a placebo procedure. The goal is to see if it reduces serious heart events like hospitalizations or death over two years.
