This study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants. It aimed to understand if PCSK9 inhibitor drugs, which lower cholesterol, also reduce inflammation in the arteries of people with heart disease. Researchers planned to use a special imaging scan to measure inflammation in patients before and after taking the drug for a year, comparing them to healthy volunteers.
