Toronto hospital collects blood to build future cancer test library
NCT ID NCT03702309
Summary
This study aims to create a large collection of blood samples from cancer patients and people at high risk for cancer. Researchers will use these samples to build a research library for future studies on 'liquid biopsies'—blood tests that can detect cancer DNA. The goal is to help develop better, non-invasive ways to monitor cancer and its response to treatment over time.
