Breakthrough heart stent that dissolves

Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of heart stent called Freesolve is as safe and effective as a standard metal stent (Xience). Freesolve is made of magnesium and is designed to dissolve in the artery over time. The study will involve about 1,859 adults with clogged heart arteries and will compare how well the two devices work over five years.
