Summary

This study compares two programs designed to prevent delirium (sudden confusion) in older adults during a hospital stay. One program uses hospital staff, while the other also involves family members or care partners. The goal is to see which approach works better to reduce confusion and improve patient and family satisfaction. About 1,900 people aged 70 and older who are at risk for delirium will take part.
