What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
cryoneurolysis (a procedure that uses extreme cold to temporarily freeze nerves and reduce pain)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that cryoneurolysis provides meaningful, lasting pain relief for people with various chronic pain conditions.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage observational study with no comparison group, so results may not apply to everyone. Pain relief may be temporary or not work for all participants.
Conditions
The condition(s) this trial relates to.
