New device aims to ease stubborn chest pain in heart disease patients

Summary

This early study tests a new device called the A-FLUX Reducer for people with chest pain caused by small heart vessel disease (microvascular dysfunction). The device is placed in a vein near the heart to improve blood flow and reduce symptoms. About 30 adults with persistent chest pain will take part to see if the device is safe and helps relieve their pain.
