Scientists investigate if amylin analogue sparks migraines

Summary

This study looks at whether pramlintide, a drug similar to the hormone amylin, can cause migraine attacks in people who get migraines without aura. Researchers will give 21 participants either pramlintide or a placebo and watch for headaches over 12 hours. The goal is to understand how amylin might play a role in starting migraines.
