New combo therapy targets brain lining spread in lung cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a combination of the drug zorifertinib and chemotherapy given directly into the fluid around the brain for people with a type of lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to the lining of the brain. The goal is to control the disease and shrink or stop the growth of these brain metastases. About 38 adults who have already tried a certain targeted therapy will participate.
