First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding deep breathing or yoga poses to standard physical therapy could help people with knee osteoarthritis overcome a fear of movement (kinesiophobia). Forty participants aged 40-60 were split into two groups: one did deep breathing with therapy, the other did yoga poses with therapy. The goal was to see which approach better reduced fear and pain.
