New Wound-Reading device could help surgeons close injuries at the right time

Summary
This study is testing a new device called WounDx™ that helps surgeons know when a wound is ready to be closed. The device creates a report based on the wound's condition, but the surgeon makes the final decision. About 40 people with large wounds on their arms or legs will take part. The goal is to see if the device works well in a hospital setting.
