First seen Nov 15, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding whole brain radiation and a drug called plerixafor to standard chemotherapy can help people with a newly diagnosed aggressive brain tumor (glioblastoma). Twenty-one adults took part. The goal was to see if the combination could delay tumor growth and improve survival. The approach aims to control the disease, not cure it.
