New study combines Weight-Loss shot with virtual workouts for cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT07228741

Summary

This study is testing whether a weekly weight-loss medication (Tirzepatide) combined with a remote, supervised exercise program can help adult survivors of childhood leukemia lose weight and improve their heart and metabolic health. The 28-week program aims to see if participants can lose at least 5% of their body weight. The study is looking for 20 adult survivors who are at least 5 years from their leukemia diagnosis and have obesity or are overweight with a related health condition.
