First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests a website tool called WeCareToFeedDysphagia designed to reduce stress and burden for people caring for older adults with Alzheimer's or related dementias who also have trouble swallowing. About 800 caregivers will either get access to the tool or not, and all will have contact with a swallowing expert. Caregivers will fill out surveys when they join, and again at 1 and 3 months after the patient leaves the hospital.
