First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This pilot study tests a web-based program called Cuidar-ME, designed to help women going through perimenopause or menopause feel better mentally and emotionally. The program includes 8 weekly online modules based on cognitive-behavioral therapy. Researchers will recruit 150 women in Portugal, aged 40-60, and randomly assign them to either the program or a waitlist. The goal is to see if the program is acceptable, feasible, and shows early signs of improving quality of life and reducing anxiety and depression.
