VR training boosts nursing students' confidence more than traditional methods
NCT ID NCT07595588
First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality room (VR CAVE) could teach community nursing skills as effectively as a physical mock home. 150 final-year nursing students tried both methods. Results showed both approaches improved clinical skills equally, but students felt more satisfied and confident after the VR experience. This suggests VR can be a valuable tool when real-world training spaces are limited.
