First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how vitamin D levels might influence high blood pressure in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will collect blood samples from 40 participants to study immune cells called monocytes and see if they trigger a hormone that raises blood pressure. The goal is to better understand the connection, not to test a new treatment.
