NCT ID NCT07669090

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether watching calming nature videos through virtual reality glasses or doing progressive muscle relaxation exercises could reduce anxiety in high-risk pregnant women during a non-stress test (NST). 126 women were randomly assigned to one of three groups: VR, relaxation, or standard care. Researchers measured anxiety levels and physical signs like heart rate before and after the 20-minute test.
