NCT ID NCT06215131
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual reality (VR) diet program is a practical way to help people with fatty liver disease lose weight. Twenty adults with fatty liver were randomly assigned to receive diet counseling either in person or through a VR headset. The VR program, called IVAN, lets users interact with food in a virtual kitchen. Researchers measured weight changes and asked participants about their experience to see if VR counseling is a feasible alternative to traditional in-person visits.
