Summary

This study looked at whether Vidaza, a drug used for acute leukemia, could also help treat atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). The idea was that Vidaza might reverse certain DNA changes that lower the activity of a gene important for heart function. Only one person took part, and researchers tracked heart rhythm and heart structure changes over 6 to 12 months.
