Summary
This study looked at different treatments for vestibulodynia, a long-term pain condition affecting the vulva that impacts the lives of about 1 in 6 women. Researchers tested a pain cream, an oral medication, and a combination of both against a placebo in 209 women aged 18-50. The goal was to find which approach works best to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
