New heart ablation system put to the test in 50-Patient workflow study

Summary
This study is testing a new system (VARIPULSE catheter and TRUPULSE generator) with updated software to treat atrial fibrillation, a condition where the heart beats irregularly. About 50 adults with either short-lasting (paroxysmal) or longer-lasting (persistent) atrial fibrillation will take part. The main goal is to see how well the system works in practice by measuring procedure times and how many energy applications are needed.
