Testicle blood flow may predict fertility surgery success

NCT ID NCT07517952

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 40 infertile men with varicoceles (enlarged veins in the scrotum) to see if blood flow measurements in the testicles can predict how well they will respond to surgery. Participants will have ultrasound and blood tests before and three months after a standard microsurgical repair. The goal is to find a simple way to identify who will benefit most from the operation.
