New dosing method could help sick infants get the right antibiotic dose days sooner

Summary

This study tests whether checking vancomycin levels after the very first dose and adjusting quickly can help infants with sepsis reach the right drug levels faster. About 40 infants under 90 days old will take part. The goal is to avoid dangerous delays in treating serious infections.
