New stimulation technique targets apathy in Parkinson's

Summary

This study tests a non-invasive nerve stimulation method (RAVANS) to see if it can improve apathy—a common lack of motivation—in people with Parkinson's disease. Sixty participants will receive either real or sham stimulation for two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in motivation, other non-motor symptoms, and check for side effects.
