Summary

This study looks at whether a gentle electrical stimulation of a nerve in the ear can help people who have had a major stroke. Researchers will measure markers of brain injury and inflammation in the blood. 65 adults with a recent stroke will either get standard care or standard care plus this nerve stimulation. The goal is to see if the stimulation reduces brain damage and improves recovery.
